Mares came back strong! Meet their new Trilatminate Drysuit. Designed and engineered in Italy. Produced in Europe.
Fabrics
The Trilaminate Drysuit is designed with three distinct fabric levels which address various stress factors:
Base Level - Torso & Legs
The base level features 4-6 layers of Butyl rubber applied in multiple coats on both the inner and outer linings for enhanced durability.
The inner lining, a fine 78g/sqm polyester twill weave, provides exceptional flexibility and softness for comfort, while the tight 180g/sqm polyester plain weave outer layer in Butyl Trilaminate offers a strong, balanced blend of durability and freedom of movement.
High Level - Shoulders & Crotch
These high-abrasion areas require added protection while maintaining freedom of movement. Here, the outer lining is an extremely abrasion-resistant, highly texturized 230g/sqm Nylon 6.6 (Cordura-type) weave, ensuring both flexibility and durability.
Max Level - Knees & Rear
In areas subjected to the greatest stress, such as the knees and rear, the need for flexibility is reduced, allowing for a more robust coating. In these sections, an additional layer of the extremely abrasion-resistant 230g/sqm Nylon 6.6 (Cordura-type) weave is applied over the base level for maximum durability.

- Seal Material - Latex
- Valves - SI-Tech
- Pockets - Two generous cargo pockets. Each has two compartments - a main compartment and a zippered pocket on the flap.
- Sealing - Three layers of Aquasure
The two zips are offset for following reasons:
- Low Profile - To avoid potential pressure points where the shoulder strap of a BCD or harness meets the zip, we’ve kept the profile as low as possible and optimized the zip’s position.
- Reduced Tension - By offsetting the zips, tension on the dry zip is minimized, improving durability and comfort during wear.
Pockets
The drysuit features two generous cargo pockets, each designed with functionality in mind:
- Separate Space - The pockets are divided into two distinct compartments, providing enhanced organization for essential gear.
- Attachment Points - Four silver bungee cords of varying lengths are integrated for securing accessories.
- Drainage - Metal eyelets at the bottom of the pockets
- Easy Access - The closure flaps have reinforced piping on the lower edge for improved grip, even when wearing gloves.
- Double Ender Storage - A zippered pocket on each flap provides additional space.
Suspenders
To increase the comfort of the drysuit, especially when it’s unzipped and partially donned.
- Adjustment - The suspenders are adjustable, ensuring a comfortable fit for divers of various torso lengths.
- Valuables - An integrated front pocket on the suspenders provides a convenient space for storing personal belongings or valuables.
- Surface Interval - Two bungees attached to the suspenders provide a secure place to tuck your sleeves, protecting the seals from damage while allowing you full freedom of movement.
Boots
- Warmth - Made from 6 mm thick, compression-resistant neoprene, these boots achieve the ideal balance of insulation and comfort, maintaining their properties over prolonged use.
- Sturdiness - To provide exceptional durability, these boots are reinforced with vulcanized rubber around the heel, toe, and upper areas, ensuring they withstand abrasions and wear even in rugged underwater environments.
- Stability - The boots come with a reinforced rubber sole with a textured anti-slip pattern. Thus, you will have a safe grip on any terrain.
