The Thermoflexx + undersuit uses the breathable, innovative Climashield® Apex ™ insulation to provide optimal thermal comfort to the areas of the body most sensitive to the cold. The isolated zones are the chest, back, kidneys and thighs.

The Climashield® Apex ™ insulation is stretchable in all directions, so that the material retains excellent flexibility and does not restrict mobility in any way.

The inner layer is a high-quality fleece fabric that is characterized by very good thermal insulation properties. Thanks to its thick structure, it offers excellent insulation against cold and wind and keeps a dry and warm microclimate away from the skin. It is hydrophobic, i.e. it does not trap moisture in an amount greater than 1% of its weight, so that the fabric always feels dry and soft. The microscopic air pockets in the fabric structure create thermal insulation, keeping the body warm. The perspiration moisture that arises during exercise is absorbed by the inner layer of the fabric. While the outer layer transports the collected moisture to the environment, leaving the skin dry and breathing naturally. The material is extremely durable and resistant to damage, which guarantees a long life. The addition of polyamide fiber improves the elasticity of the material and reduces air permeability to the body.

The outer layer “easy-on-easy-off” makes it easy to put on and take off the drysuit. The material is quick-drying, durable, wrinkle-free, very flexible and feels soft. It does not crease and responds well to frequent washing.

The fibers used for the production of the insulation retain their properties and structure despite their use in harsh conditions or repeated washings. No matter how often the garment is stretched, compressed or washed, the insulation retains its original shape even after repeated use and guarantees warmth throughout the life of the product.
Climashield® Apex ™ is the lightest insulation with the most efficient thermal content available. Based on 25 years of experience, an insulation material has been created that has 75% more fill power and is 30% more efficient than any continuous fiber insulation.
