The Apeks MTX-R Sidemount Set is specifically designed for sidemount divers who require reliable performance in demanding environments. Combining rugged construction with exceptional cold-water capability, this regulator set delivers the smooth breathing performance Apeks regulators are known for while providing optimal hose routing for sidemount configurations.

Engineered with military-grade durability, the MTX-R is ideal for technical diving, cave diving, wreck diving, and cold water exploration. The forged first stage and advanced thermal design help prevent freezing and ensure dependable performance even in extreme conditions.

First Stage Features:

• Available in DIN or Yoke configuration.

• Designed and approved for cold water diving below 10°C / 50°F.

• Over-balanced diaphragm design improves breathing performance at depth.

• Innovative over-moulded endcap and environmental diaphragm prevent ice build-up and protect against impact damage.

• Forged first stage body with heat-exchange ribs for maximum thermal performance.

• Rotating turret with medium pressure ports positioned parallel for improved hose routing in sidemount setups.

• 5th medium pressure port (3/8" UNF) with protective bumper when not in use.

• Angled high pressure ports for optimal routing of gauges or transmitters.

• Ribbed diaphragm clamp increases heat transfer in cold water conditions.

• Double swivel hose connection for increased freedom of movement and comfort.

• Tested to EN250A standard for octopus use in cold water.

• Nitrox compatible up to 40% O₂ (EU regulations apply above 21% O₂).

Second Stage Features:

• High-performance pneumatically balanced second stage for effortless breathing.

• Large self-flushing purge button that is easy to control.

• Durable over-moulded front cover with chrome-plated brass plate for improved strength.

• Large protective elastomer bumpers protect against impact and scratches.

• Reversible second stage allows left or right hose configuration for sidemount diving.
